Margaret Wells Dear Emrys,
Some sad news, I'm afraid. Sandra Meredith (remember you took a lovely photo of her with my Mum?) died unexpectedly on Sunday 1st September. It was a pulmonary embolism and she was found sitting comfortably on the settee with a cup of tea nearby. Mum has told me that Sandra was her only godchild, which was news to me. She appears in photos of my parent's wedding as a bridesmaid. Mum and Dad used to visit her at the farm regularly, and we scattered my dad's ashes on the hillside there.
