Subject: RE: Edgar Watkins/Tydfil PughHiya Emrys,I don't think we are actually related except by marriage. Tydfil and Edgar's that is! Alvira Tydfil Pugh was my grandmothers sister, making her my great Aunt and Edgar my great uncle in law. I am afraid I know very little about him. My late father who was born in Dowlais vaguely remembered him. He told me that Edgar worked as a fitter for Merthyr Tydfil Electric and Tramway Company and was an Inspector on the trams on the weekends. Tydfil died very young -complications with childbirth according to my father. My Auntie Tyd (their eldest daughter)was born that day. He thought that Edgar married again possibly to a Beat (Beatrice)and they had 2 daughters Audrey and Peg. He also said he believed that Edgar had at least 2 sisters. Is that where you come in? I would love a copy of the 1911. I haven't got round to following all that up yet. I was lucky to inherit quite a lot of family photos although I have only that one of Edgar.
