Narrative

James Arscott of 23 John Street Merthyr Tydfil provided surety for the probate of Thomass Thomas Williams, but it's not clear whether this was James husband-of-Ceinwen, or his father.

William Delahay of Canal Square, Merthyr Tydfil, an underground driver, provided the other surety. A William Delahay married a Sarah M Baker in Merhtyr in 1920, but the only Sarah I can find was too young. Related to Thomas Thomas Williams's wife's family? Anyway, that doesn't help with a Delahay that married a Margaret Williams, as required by the inheritance letter. There were lots of Delahays around, all apparently related, including two William Delahays of about the right age.
